Who We Are

1st Psych Medicolegal is an independent group of highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrists whose guiding ethos is to provide high quality independent medicolegal reports. Through many years of experience, we have developed strong working relationships with solicitors, insurance companies, Government bodies, Police forces and NHS providers, with cases including personal injury, complex clinical negligence and professional misconduct.

All our expert psychiatrists maintain active clinical practice with a broad depth of experience, including general adult psychiatry, old age psychiatry, learning disability and neuropsychiatry.

Our Areas of Expertise

Our areas of expertise include Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Adjustment Disorders, Bodily Distress Disorders (somatoform disorders), Functional disorders, Brain injury, Addiction, Psychosis, Dementia, as well as Capacity opinions.

We have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the medicolegal field and are always happy to informally discuss cases or queries.
